Broadgate ice rink, located just outside of Liverpool Street Station, might be one of London's smaller rinks, but it does boast the unique advantage of being London's only 'turn up and skate' seasonal rink - no advance bookings here. It's also one of the few rinks where skate hire is not included in the price. Bring along your own skates if you've got them to save a couple of pounds.The rink is also home to London's Broomball league. Now Broomball is a new sport to me, but I can tell you that it sounds slippery. Players wear training shoes and slide across the ice trying to sweep the ball into a goal with a broom. Matches will be played regularly from January onwards if you want to turn up and watch to find out more.

Adults £8/ Children (under 16) £6. You also need to pay £2 per person if you want to hire skates
Opening Hours
Public sessions are generally between 10am and 8.30pm. Check the website as times vary, as some dates the rink is closed for private hire.
