If your kids are interested in film these Saturday Film Workshops will give them a good knowledge of a number of different film techniques.Children work in groups developing their own storyline and characters and will then be involved in all stages of the production of a film. Amongst other things
they will learn about storyboarding, artwork, operating cameras and recording techniques.
The course is over 5 sessions that are details below:
1: Animation, professional 3D animations and cut-out animations, showing armatures and character designs - Setting up a camera and lap top for animation - Capturing - Making the parts of a cut-out puppet character - Assembling the parts of a cut-out puppet character.
2: Testing animations, Timing - Animation of cut-out character begins - Brainstorming.
3: Storyboarding - Making backgrounds - Continuing with animation of cut-out character.
4: Animating individual shots.
5: Editing - Recording sound effects - Exporting movie to QuickTime.
