Containing more than 10,000 exhibits over 7 floors, from Stephenson's Rocket to the Apollo 10 command module, this is a wonderful place for children to learn about science and technology both past and present and cotains a number of interactive displays. Each floor covers a different aspect of technology including communications, nuclear power, printing and computing amongst others.

Demonstrations are run daily and a number of specialist exhibitions are put on throughtout the year.

The museum is free but you have to pay for the IMAX theatre and simulator rides.

There is a resturant available and also a designated picnic area to eat your own lunch.
