The Paddock Community Nature Park lies on the very edge of Tottenham and has been developed as a haven of calm for birds, trees, flowers and human beings!
The result is woodland, crammed with hawthorn, elder, buddleia, wild geraniums, purple flowering comfrey, white daises and pink dog roses, that is opened at dawn and locked at dusk.

"The paddock is at first a fairly grim place to enter but there is nature to be spotted. In summer at dusk around 8pm+, wild kitties spring from the bushes and brave foxes are easily seen, unfortunately attracted by the piles of rubbish. The paddock is home to a flock of green Ring Necked Parakeets which are easily seen and around half an hour past sunset, bats. However, the paddock is also home to alcoholic men who are permanently camped there leaving behind glass, cans, burnt patches of grass, food remains, tissues and human excrement making this a place unsuitable for kids."
