Beckenham Hill Road
go to website

This is the largest green space in the London Borough of Lewisham.
It has large areas of ancient woodland ideal for informal woodland walks. The park is an important wildlife site, and it also makes up part of the South East London Green Chain Walk and the regional Capital Ring.

Tennis, golf and football are all played here and the Mansion House, a Grade II listed building, houses the golf clubhouse. The 'Friends of Beckenham Place Park' arrange a number of events in the park, including walks and talks. For more information you can visit the Friends Visitor's Centre inside the Mansion on Sundays from 2pm to 4pm, or telephone 020 8325 8781.

The golf course is an 18 hole municipal pay and play course. 18 hole and 9 hole tickets can be bought at the pro shop.
The eastern section of the park has a new children's playground with an interactive water play feature, popular with youngsters during the summer months. The park is a 'key' park and is patrolled by on-site park keepers.
