“I want pancakes for breakfast!” yelled the big one. “I want pancakes for tea!” said the small one.
We could all be panned out come tomorrow night…but it’s actually a relief to have an excuse to indulge in sugary goodness without need for explanation (or maybe that’s just me). Of course pancakes DON’T have to be sugary, or covered in nutella, but I know the way my two swing. Given half a chance.
Here’s a couple of reminder-recipes. The American pancake is a nice change, and fun for little hands as they can easily be picked up whole. Thank you BBC Good Food website..
Or the traditional moon sized pan-filler from Delia. Scrummy.
There are loads of events around London too – one of our favs is in Greenwich, which is in aid of MacMillan. School kids can join in races at 4pm too!
And dessert? Another pancake please! Yum. Yum.
